Auric Oil
Daily Ear Hygiene
Preparation with Lavender Extract
FORMAT:
Dropper
bottle of 25 mL
INGREDIENTS:
Emollient vegetable oils, essential
oil of Cajuput and Lavender off.
INDICATIONS:
Recommended for daily use by children
and adults to calm ear canal irritations
and itching, to prevent the accumulation
and especially the hardening of cerumen
(ear wax), to prevent the formation
of epidermic plugs and for its emollient
effect before the application of auricular
candles.
DIRECTIONS
FOR USE:
Daily ear hygiene: Always soak the
cotton swab with a few drops of Auric
Oil. Auric Oil facilitates the cleaning
process, fluidifies cerumen and leaves
a protective natural coating on the
auditory canal (no more accumulation
of cerumen at the back of the auditory
canal). Before the application of
auricular candles: Put 2 drops of
Auric Oil into the auditory canal
for its emollient effect before the
application of the candles. Earwax
plugs: Every evening, put 4 to 5 drops
of warmed Auric Oil in the affected
ear and let stand for 30 minutes.
Apply an auricular candle with essential
oils. Delicately clean the ear with
a cotton swab soaked in Auric Oil.
Repeat the treatment everyday until
the plug is completely dissolved.
Keep out of reach of
children.
Documentation:
Auric
Oil is entirely formulated with 100
% natural products. The gentle, emollient
and fluidifying properties of Auric
Oil allow the cerumen to fully play
its role of cleanser and protector
of the auditory canal.
For good auricular hygiene, it is
recommended that Auric Oil be used
daily, especially if you work in the
dusty environment of a building site
or workshop, or if you work around
vapors such as in a beauty/hair salon
or with paint, or if your environment
is polluted by cigarette smoke, excessive
heat and noise. Without these precautions,
ear wax plugs would be very difficult
to remove.
Cerumen secretion must be fluid and
regular to allow for the lubrication
and the protection of the auditory
canal and the elimination of epidermic
debris. The role of this ear wax or
cerumen is to protect our precious
auditory system by preventing various
impurities, dusts and microbes from
penetrating into the ear and aggressing
the eardrum.
Excess cerumen, other than its unsightly
appearance, favors the proliferation
of bacteria and provokes itching,
irritations and injuries to the auditory
canal by the removal of accumulated
cerumen with a fingernail or other
object. Excess cerumen favors infection
and repeated otitis (earaches).
Following abundant ear wax secretion
and inadequate auricular hygiene,
the cerumen will progressively harden
and form a mass the will obstruct
the auditory canal: this mass is called
a cerumen plug and ranges in color
from dark yellow to very dark brown.
This plug can lead to the following
consequences: a progressive reduction
in hearing, itching and buzzing in
the ears, vertigo and headaches, loss
of equilibrium, etc.
Furthermore, the plug can inflate
with water (after a bath) and obstruct
the auditory canal. Some vertigos,
such as Menières disease,
can simply be the consequence of an
« old » cerumen plug.
The hardening of cerumen is favored
by pollution, excessive heating, tobacco
smoke, heavy dust particles, pain
vapors and hairsprays, etc.
Nowadays, the most used ear cleaning
tool is the cotton swab. It is also
the one that does the most harm because
it is misused. Its water-absorbing
properties explain the problems it
can create. Cotton swabs dry out the
auditory canal, push the cerumen to
the back of the auditory canal to
form a plug, reduce and block the
secretion of cerumen which provokes
irritations, itching and buzzing and
obstructs the orifice of the cerumen
producing glands, which allows for
the formation of epidermic plugs that
are very difficult to eliminate.
